Grammy-nominated country singer Mickey Guyton and Cynthia Erivo impressed audiences with their incredible performances on PBS's A Capitol Fourth, America's Independence Day Celebration at the United States Capitol.

While taking the stage on the Fourth of July, all eyes were on  the Better Than You Left Me hitmaker, 39, as she sang in a flowing red dress with a white necklace and wavy brown locks in a sleek half-up, half-down hairstyle.

For the bash, she sported a coral lipstick, smoky grey eyeshadow, black liquid eyeliner and silver hoop earrings.

Later, she underwent two outfit changes, which included a black gown with colorful fireworks embellished on it and a figure-hugging long sleeve silver dress, which clung to every curve of her toned figure.

Erivo, a 35-year-old English actress and songwriter, opted to bare a glimpse of her incredibly toned midriff in a cropped white jacket and matching maxi dress.

As she belted out one of her songs, Erivo looked passionate and lost in the moment not long after Guyton performed the national anthem and a song off her album, All American.

The lineup for the special also included Andy Grammer, Rachel Platten, Loren Allred, Chita Rivera, Yolanda Adams Darren Criss and more.

Earlier this week, in a statement from her record label, Guyton gushed about feeling excited to spend the holiday with her family.

'I am most looking forward to being able to share this experience with my son. He is 16 months now and it's just been so cool to watch him grow up and see the world for the first time, and I'm really excited about him seeing fireworks and really being able to to take it all in. I think that's going to be my favorite part of Fourth of July,' she said.

This marks the first time in two years PBS has been able to resume live performances from the West Lawn of the United States Capitol in Washington DC, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the years, however, they have aired virtual presentations and pre-taped performances.

Some highlights included Gloria Gaynor performing her classic I Will Survive and a firework show set to a beautiful score from conductor Jack Everly and the National Symphony Orchestra.

Fight Song singer Rachel Platten sat behind a piano and sang some songs as well.

The 41-year-old singer donned a white jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and matching wide-brimmed hat over her blonde tresses.

Her sparkly white teeth shined in the sun while she opened her mouth wide to scream out her songs.

Country music star Jake Owen also played a couple songs in D.C. in a light grey denim jacket, matching pants and white t-shirt.

His long black locks were parted in the middle and flared out from the sides on the bottom that stopped just shy of his shoulders.

The Made for You singer held his brown acoustic guitar close to his body as he took the stage.

Last week, Guyton talked about feeling honored to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at this year's Super Bowl.

'I felt like I was about to give birth the first time … in front of the whole world, that's how nerve-wracking it was,' Guyton told WTOP.

She continued:  'I wanted to [meet the halftime performers] so badly, I actually shared a dressing room with Snoop Dogg and he was in there, but I was too scared to say hi. I don't know why, I follow him on Instagram. … I had one job!'

Additionally Guyton reflected on wanting to become a country singer after first hearing 'LeAnn Rimes sing the national anthem at a Texas Rangers baseball game when' she was a kid.

'My grandma also was a huge Dolly Parton fan,' the performer gushed.

The star added: 'She would have Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers VHS tapes … along with Fried Green Tomatoes and Steel Magnolias.'
